Intergenerational Senior Prom

The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department and the Pioneer Valley High School student body are pleased to extend a cordial invitation to all active aging adults ages 50 and older to the Senior Prom. Participants are encouraged to dress up and join the fun at the Senior Prom, themed “It’s Now or Never!”

The event takes place from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7th at the Elwin Mussell Senior Center, located at 510 East Park Avenue.

The Riptide Band will entertain the crowd and special guest John D’Andrea will play his special rendition of “It’s Now or Never” on the saxophone.  Enjoy light refreshments and visit with friends at this great intergenerational event.

Please RSVP by Thursday, May 4th by calling (805) 925-0951 extension 2207. This program is also sponsored by the Santa Maria Valley Senior Club and the Community Foundation Fund.

Questions regarding the Senior Prom and other active aging programming may be directed to the Recreation and Parks Department at (805) 925-0951 extension 2260.
